On this day last year....
...I was at Royal Ascot with two beautiful ladies. By the end of the day our wallets were considerably lighter, not because of all the champagne we bought but because of the bets we lost!

Just wanted to wish you a wonderful day and happy returns!Also, thank you so much for your AMAZING and INCREDIBLE blog which lifts me into another place and time each time I read it! The photo's are spectacular! You are such a gifted photographer! Dom and I loved NY when we went, and seeing your images of the fantastic city just makes us want to return soon!.... All is well here, busy but happily so! We had a fab Sunday lunch out with Bill and Sam at Coombe Cellars on the Teign estuary recently. We always have such a great time when we see them both!I showed Bill your blog on my iphone and hope he is following you too now?!...This weekend was quite special! We went down to Fowey to celebrate a special friends birthday! It was the Fowey Mussel Festival and I got to meet James Strawbridge ('Not easy going green' and the Hungry Boys programmes)Ended up crimping a pasty with him on stage which was terrifying! Wish you had been there- you would have done a much better job!... Enjoy all your Big Apple adventures and Happy Birthday! Lots of love from all the Newton Abbot Crew!Liz.xxx
